Ian did say that judging by the response on Ebay for Gardiner poles he would hope to get that.  ;D

I think this is a more specialised tool for a specialised application so it probably won't be that easy to find a buyer.

I think the new clamps and metal clamping rings and new brush are big pluses for buying new.

From a tax WDA as Capital equipment he would write down 40% in the first year and then 18% in the second year from the new pool with the new tax year (pole is 18 months old.) So tax wise his pole would be valued by the receiver at £640 in his business.

It would be interesting to see how an ex used car salesman gets on with this one. A used pink Ferrari comes to mind.  :)

Success is 1% inspiration, 98% perspiration and 2% attention to detail!

The older I get, the better I was ;)

The extreme 47 has reduced in price over the years. I am sure it was 999£ at one point? Plus vat ?

Just looked and i got my first one in the sale. Inc vat £847 :D My SPC has paid this off. Pole has been used for only SPC and a few odd windows on some odd commercial jobs. Pole looks brand new still.  ;D

I was thinking about her pink Range Rover and horse box when I made the comment.
