Gardiner extreme 18 + supreme soft hybrid brush.
« on: April 02, 2015, 05:49:54 pm »
Just got my extreme pole delivered today, along with the soft hybrid brush.

Only used it for a few hours, but wow. Can't believe I've waited so long to buy an extreme pole. It is awesome. I'd almost go as far to say it's actually a pleasure to clean windows with.  :o it even makes my slx feel heavy and whippy.

The metal clamping bands work really well, and new smart clamps that stop them spinning (in the open position) is a very clever idea.  All in all I'm absoloutley converted to the extremes. Even if I had to replace it every year ( which I very much doubt) i would happily do it.

Love it.

The brush is also really good. Super smooth on the glass, and the natural bristles scrub very well.

Feindishly clever way to stop the levers spinning there.

Time will tell, but so far I really like it. If you liked tecbuk then you will like the supreme range I feel.

The new extreme has the 3 point clamping bands mate, which I'm glad of.  Fully open, fully closed, or half way.

I know Gardiners don't  advise putting a Aqua-Adaptor onto a Extreame , but is it ok ?
The aqua-adaptors are much lighter now .

I'm tempted to buy a Extreame  25ft , to replace my 30Ft Slx .

Shame I can't get a 30ft Extreame

The clamps look like their 100% cock on now

I used the original AD on an original extreme for a good few months did no harm.

But it was like buying a Ferrari and putting a ford fiesta engine in it ;)

I've got a 30'
I bought a 35' and took the base section off.

I wouldn't put an ad on an extreme
They are too delicate
Mine broke cos of the weight of the ad

I have used my v lite ad for a year now on my extreme without a problem , in my opinion the original ad was way to heavy for the extreme but the latest ad is fine , according to the letter of the law you aren't suppose to use it with an extreme but realistically its fine .. Just be sensible
