Hi,

I am wondering if anybody can recommend a cover for a tablet to keep it protected from water and being dropped?

there is a good one for iPad size, which is £100 to buy... but i can't find anything good for a mini iPad size or hudl...

its for a hudl at the moment, which is iPad mini size, but to be honest, i am interested in any recommendations for any tablet, as i may not stick with the hudl anyhow. i need a well protected tablet so am willing to chance the tablet to fit the case if needs be! sounds back to front i know!!!!

If you put the hudl in a nice strong case, then used this. It would keep you out of the poop for a while........

I use this on our ipad minis, air and iphones.

Only gripe is the charging cover after a few months comes detached.

Its a specific case. They fit iphones, ipads etc. So if you change tablet you could get one. I would look at first gen ipad mini's seen them quite cheap 2nd hand/refurbished etc.

I use CP on mini - ipad air - iphone 5 now iphone 6 plus. All perfect.

Ipad mini is your best bet or find that case but in android form to go with these generic £70 android tabs.

New minis can be had for £160 or less now. The refurb jobbies on Play.com or ratukauen or whatever it was were £109:00 or 119:99 12 month warranty. New charger. New sync lead.

On the Hudl thing, we have had 4 fail on us, all referred models, its like the screen loses contact with the electronics behind it, and if you squeeze the surround, it comes back in to life, but eventually becomes totally unresponsive.

Get what you pay for I guess  >:(

Unless your lads hide the tablets in buckets of soapy water when not in use dont see the need for something fully waterproof
