looking to purchase this ro unit is this any good  and is it a fair price

You planning on buying a fish tank? That's all that unit is good for...
If your planning on a filling a tank the absolute minimum you should get is 450gpd.

It says 150 gpd but in reality it will probably only produce half of that.

Because with the 100gpd unit it will probably take a week to make 600 litres  :P
