Ive just been offered a promotion with a local gym, they've teamed up with the local branch of a national women's cloth store and local radio for a "drop a dress size in 6 weeks " promotion, in return for some vouchers for carpet/upholstery cleaning i get the business mentioned on local radio and if i want i can put an offer on my flyers for a free months gym membership, any ideas about this or has anybody done it before?    Andy

Hi Andy,
seems like a good interaction of business, what i do know is that local radio can be really good way of getting your business known, esp if theres a catchy jingle to go along with it, we have a good local radio station where we are, and many domestic and commercial places are switched onto it!
Well worth a recky i'd say
cheers

Andy,

Hope you dont mind me saying Well Done.

Why not ask Gym if you could direct mail their membership list with a Special Offer and tieiing in their promotion.

Even better if they contribute towards cost

Thanks for that Ian, They're sending out the details with their next mail shot and I'm sharing the postage costs, Ive got to sort out some kind of fixed discount for their members, Ive got a leaflet dispenser in the reception area and although they wont allow posters or paper advertising on their walls, Ive managed this morning to get them to agree to an advert in stick on vinyl on one of the large mirrors in the gym facing some exercise bikes, gives their customers something to read whilst going nowhere fast ;D, total cost a free clean on their reception area and stairs every couple of months, should take 3/4s of an hour, worth a try if nothing else, Andy

Thats good,

Card and dispenser adverts cost a fortune.
