New van ? or re-doing it ?
If I had a new van, this time around I wouldn't use protectakote.
If I really felt I had a need to waterproof or protect the floor I would use a fiber glass kit over the ply lining ( if it had one being sure it was totally dry underneath first of course )

Fibreglass is the only way.
It'll outlast the van!

Seen a van that's had protectacote put on about 3 months ago already wearing and looking tatty.
I've just had my van speedlinered it's a lot more expensive but a quality product.

Fibreglass it mate, it's easier than you think. Costs about £60 for a small van.

Buy a fiberglass roofing kit, includes everything you will need including the gel topcoat that will waterproof it.
Below is one site I just pulled up off google (plenty more though), you just choose the kit that suits the square meter area you need, i would have thought that 5m square kit would be more than enough. Watch a few you tube clips also to see how its done.  ;)

I used these guys, they are really helpful. I also bought some blue gelcoat from them, it gives a very tough and durable finish.

Here's a pic of my Partner when I had just done it.

Just to add..

My Trafic is speedlined and I agree it's great stuff (cost about £800) but fibreglass, for a cost of less than £100 is a good alternative.
