I currently run george systems on a palm but it is getting harder to hot sync these. As there are so many different types of model and docking ways,,,, does anyone use this on something likeep a mini dell our something that is compatible with the new Windows pc???  so I can break away from palms

i use a samsung galaxy note 3 with the cleaner planner app mate.its fantastic.

i used george for 5 years and a palm pda but it started playing up and becoming unreliable so i switched to CP which has a mobile app for android/IOS so you can have all your worksheets/debtlists on your phone.very easy to sync your phone to your PC/laptop full program. ;)

its dead easy to import your data from george to cleaner planner.rob will sort you out.you can get a free one month trial.

nothing to lose mate.its the future for sure.so glad i switched!
price higher/work harder!

I always carried a netbook in van with me with george on it. The screen started to go on it so just before xmas bought a lynx 8 windows tablet from staples, even managed to get a case off ebay with an integrated keyboard that just plugs in to the mini usb , I also regularly back up to a usb stick that has both mini and standard usb connections on it so any larger tasks or round maintenance can be done on my pc once home.  ;)

Thanks Daz and hi Shammy - if you're curious about Cleaner Planner as an option give me a shout and I'll walk you through it. As Daz explained you have the main app on the PC where you set up worksheets, assign them to employees etc, and then you have the mobile app on your Android/iOS phone/tablet. No need for cradles or any of that, you just sync in the morning over WiFi and upload at end of day. You don't need 3G as the app runs offline during the day so it's super quick and easy to use. Employees will only be able to login on the mobile app and only see worksheets you assign to them. You can hide prices for commercial work and they will never have access to anything sensitive like round values. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions rob@cleanerplanner.com or just go ahead and sign up for the trial and have a play. If you'd like me to import your George data simply email over your latest backup :)

I use roundpartner and find it fantastic. Syncs with the calender on my iphone so if no internet still have access to jobs. The big advantage is it`s not a program on one of my many computers that die on a regular basis.
Has transformed things for me and would highly recommend.
