450gpd from Purefreedom has been great for me, produces plenty of pure over 24 hours and the pure to waste ratio is good aswell. Not that expensive either as far as I remember.

I use a Ro-man 450 gpd ro, with a booster  pump, this ro is very efficient.
It takes my tap water down from 400 + on average down to about 5, so no need to buy di resin.
It would make your 400 ltrs per day in around 8 hrs ish, maybe a bit quicker.
If you dont need to make water super fast, this is the way i would go.
Slower but better quality ( plus no di expence )

I have a 300gpd from colins water products.
Just changed all my filters, Im not using my booter pump at the moment and i just fill the van then leave the water on all week and its perfect.
I only use 300/400l per day so just tops itself back up over night.
