Hi Guys

I picked up various samples from Carpex but the one which caught my eye was Chemspec's Detergent free and Phosphate free ,  DFC 210 and 105.


We have heard all the MS,  which is basically sodium tripolyphosphate,  is safer  than detergent arguments but this  breaks down when the enviromental damage phosphates cause is taken into account.

So Chemspec have brought out these new products which are free of almost everything.

They are apparently based on common salt, sodium chloride and certainly taste like it.

I will be interested to see how well they clean.

By the way I spoke to Prochem who confirmed their soap free  product Pureclean ,  was sodium tripolyphosphate , so now you can buy MS without the water , saving pounds and also available from local distributors , thereby avoiding those horrendous delivery charges.

Chemspec spared no expense with their chemicals and I too walked away with the two DFC, both I was interested to used, also got some sweets and an apple. Dry-fusion gave away a spotter, but shame some other companies had no chemicals for us to try. Looks like I will be using my usuals chems, and seeing what chemspec have to offer. Shame on the other guys, whats the point of spending all that money on a show if you only wish to sell tm's, Chemicals are your bread and butter.

I also got a sample of Envirodi 'sponges' , when I said to the rep looked like sawdust and he said yes it is a wood based product , wood based sponges :

However the demo was good and the rep professional , so I will give the sample a try and they also offered a demo.

I asked Prochem for a sample of Pureclean and the rather lame excuse was that they did not do samples as it involved repackaging.

I bought some cleaner and a protector from LTT so thats another to try out.

Alltec were also generous with various bits to try.

Interesting comments but what springs to mind is....... I have been using soap free products for pre-spray and rinsing for years, is it a new thing here in the UK? Best, Dave.

Never got offered any chems from Alltec, as Steve was busy with a fAg.
And I see robert had got the girls out again, you got to hand it to him, its good marketing,

Tried the DFC 105 for 2 jobs. Quite impressed. Very friendly on the stand too, unlike Prochem where I was totally blanked.
Think I'll give Chemspec the business!

I'm also keen to find out how good the Chemspec 210 and 105 are.  Environmentally friendly products could be a good selling point.

After all, some Chemspec products warn that asthmatics should keep away for 24 hours, so a nice safe cleaning process is just what the Doctor ordered
