They have a very lower centre of gravity so tend not to fall over and in the back of my pickup they don't stick up over the tub wall.
Extremely good product and the brass swivel connector and microbore reducer are brilliant. Very well designed and thought out product as you'd expect from Alex & Co.

Hi Mike.
I'm on my third one and wouldn't buy again.

Cheap enough and work well.

But as said fall over in van and once metal circular disc is dented they just get worse and harder to reel
In and out as disc rubs on frame.

I thought this was my thought and fitted last one to square wood base but yet again bent up.

I've been penny wise pound foolish for the price of 2 reels I have had could of got betting.

Cheapest I have seen is d'aqua water systems vat and deliveryb £86,
No hose.

Lee

dont they pull all over tha place being light weight when you reel the hose in?
i have the purefreedom heavy metal reel and even that wobbles about but i'd imagine a lighter reel being worse?

I Pulled mine over a few times and bent disc once a  piece of wood and a hammer to sort it out is all that is needed now on my second reel in 3 years and only had a disc bend on this one .

As for wobbling about when reeling in i just place a foot on the frame as reeling in . Mike
