Sorry I didn't mean to go back to the trolley full time  ;)

I meant, to repair my  trolley that's been sat in my garage for 6 years and use it on the big houses, and others with hose issues

I switched back to trolley as I multitask the van for other services, easier to swap my stuff over

I know this is an old ish topic but I'm considering going back to filling my backpack from the tank. I don't want to get into any long convos I would just like to know how to put a bilge pump in my tank to fill a back pack quickly. Does it just plop in the tank. Can I hook it up to any battery????

Many thanks in advance

i think your all bonkers!but each to their own! ;D ;D ;D ;D

its easier to get a hose to a job than a trolley 90% of the time.even if space is restricted.

I went from vanmount to backpack..i hated the microbore constant
snagging people parking on it etc

im a little slower but far happier :)

Providing you lay your hose out properly when moving around houses and use the right technique when heading back to truck or van

+1

There's a knack to laying your hose out and reeling in.  I've got it.  Wor Lass just ends up in a right state with 60 meters of tangles and mess.  She's only been doing it for years, bless her.

I had a 2 inch pipe connected to the outlet at the bottom of the tank, and it can fill a 19 litre backpack in 30 seconds.
Purefreedom did it when they fitted the system, and it comes in really handy sometimes  ;D

I use a trolley allday long, have van system but only use it for big commercial work.
residential work I prefer the trolley.it takes 2 seconds to throw in and out the van.
theres not many houses I use more than one container.
Also its much safer with the trolley,no hoses everywhere.
25 litre containers are light if you cant carry 2 of them at once theres something wrong.
25 litre container and trolley isnt going to break your back.
Backpacks are also great where access is a issue.

That depends on how strong you are, your size, etc, Not everyone is a natural superman and just because someone cannot carry 2 lots of 25ltrs, doesn’t mean something is wrong.

It also depends if there is any water in them.
