Are all these companies run by just the one guy? They seem very small set ups. I just wondered what happens to all the promised support if the main man kicks the bucket?

Hi Guys...

Yes, Aworka is just me, but I have two arrangements in place should I get run over by a bus:

In the short term, my hosting provider would provide extra support and monitoring, just to ensure that the site stays up and running.

In the longer term, I have an agreement with a software company to take over the service and hopefully continue development, or arrange for someone who will. This is a software company that I co-founded over 10 years ago, and although I am no longer directly involved, I know them to be reliable and trustworthy.

Whatever happens, there would be plenty of time for users to export their data for import to another system should they decide to (as they can at any time, even if I remain alive!).

I hope this helps put minds at rest?

Chris.

Hi

Yes - George is pretty much a one man band but it has a data export option so it shouldn't be to difficult to move to other software if I'm struck by a meteor, or whatever...

If you've got a decent signal, www.full.aworka.com will get you the full version on your phone

I'm aiming to release the new mobile app this summer, which will include full Planner access. Unfortunately, this is a few months later than originally planned, mainly because it has become part of a wider upgrade to the system, including a move to a new server configuration to give the site a significant performance boost.

Having said that, it would not be overly difficult to extend the current app to show a week ahead. I will look into that...
