aquadaper help??

ive bought gardiners all season hose which I thought would fit in aquadapter.it keeps pulling through.do u have to buy aquadapter hose??tried a john guest fitting,pole 2 narrow.any help please  ???

no.i usually use aquadapter hose which fits as it should,no probs.thought id try a different hose,as I say it keeps coming out of the aquadapter when used.

Some other makes of hose can be too soft and even if fitted correctly I think you'll find it too stretchy when pulling so won't operate the AD fully

You could put a tube strengthener in the pole hose that might help to stop the hose pulling out

I use Gardiner PU (orange) hose and JG 8mm stem to 6mm barb thingy with an Aquadapter and have no problems.

red aqua-daptor hose is best ive found for both hot and cold water.ive tried gardiners new PU hose and it came out of the AD with hot water.
price higher/work harder!

the barbs that gardiners sell will do the job or tube strengthener from aqua adapter, i prefer the barbs

I use Gardeners all season pole hose and it works fine. It pulled out first of all but  I just got some long nose pliers and gripped the pole hose near the push fit in the aquadapter and pushed in tightly. Never came out again.
