Hi danno
These are good taps but the retaining clips can get pulled out really easily.

Use one of these in each end you can secure them in with insulating tape makes them a bit more robust.

been using this method for a year or so, I just tighten the screw once a week, also my tap bit has broken in half but not bothered as it actually works better.

Like the pole hose taps so that you can vary the flow of water better than an aquatap. Sufficient for scrubbing quickly without splashing and more for a rinse so water cascades smoothly without splashing near the bottom of the glass

I use the EZ Snap range Gardiners sell but have done away with the recutus 21 fittings and the plastic tap lever has been replaced with an aluminium one as they break within weeks .
If i could post pics on here i would been trying for about 5 years i think and it never works . Mike

i use the push fit tap from gardiners .
I'm back to rectus 26 connectors , tried ezsnap and they lasted a month before leaking .

I use jumbo protector balls and Ez-snap, i use the 8mm pole tap for £9.50. Still going strong a year on.
No leaks ever.

I use Aquatap. Great once you get used to it.
Before that I used ' this' with plastic piping padded out to grip on the pole. This can be adjusted up and down the pole and be removed instantly.
