Reel connector
« on: February 08, 2014, 08:38:32 pm »
Any ideas what I can used to connect a reel to a hose lock stop connector on a van port? Currently I'm using a male metal barbed tail into a plastic hose lock connector, but it keeps breaking the connector as its metal to plastic. Had suggestion to changed to all metal but would rather change to plastic. Unsure what to buy tho...

have you tried using a longer hose, from the port to your reel.
that way less weight/ pressure on the connector.

i use a very cheap hoselock connector as my port, with a male to male steel hoselock connector, then about 1M of garden hose to my reel.
i have been using this for 4 years.
