Hi all.

First topic on this forum. I've only been on window tools forum previously which is great. A lot more lpg users here though.

I currently have my heater on my back door, but I do find it a bit of a
Pain with the hoses, I have my reel mounted in the back of the van so when I shut the door it pushes up the hoses etc. it works fine, but I'd much rather have the heater on the inside of the van.

Do many of you have this set up with a flexible pipe set up to get rid of the exhaust gases out of the back door? It's no problem for me to leave my door open, but would need to have the flue nearly at 90degrees with the outlet facing the back door to get rid of the fumes. Just wanting to make sure it all works well before I take my heater of the back door.

Quality Jonny , need to put pictures up of your water tight fittings around the gas heater and reel etc.
Mines still mounted on the back door , works ok for me but security isnt good . Imagine if someone stole from my van my "Gardiner Upgraded Clamps ".
 

Why you move it - rain water - doesn't effect it.

Better where you have in now. .
I can see you doing a 3RD UPGRADE and connecting  a proper ROOF VENT  , CLOSE THE DOORS  away

Still working on the hose reel mate, I'm nearly there though.

It was fine on the back door but coz I use john guest fittings and they are really rigid, when I was closing the door it was pushing pipes out of place and causing leaks.

Don't fancy drilling hole in my roof, although I might do. Haha.

Hi guys where did you source your hose from?  I want to do the same thing and certainly don't fancy cutting a hole in the roof.

To those worried about cutting the hole in the roof: it isn't as daunting as you'd think.
I drew around the chimney and just jigsawed the disc out on my last van.
Then some heat resistant silicone round the inside, wait for it to go off then the same round the outside.
When I chopped it in for my new van, it wasn't even mentioned.
Still considering doing it to my new van and fitting one if those spinney roof vent things...

Stick one of the spiny things in it. Bet it's a + when buying a new van...
