Customers that move out.
« on: January 09, 2014, 08:12:39 pm »
When one of your existing customers move out how many of you go and introduced yourselfs to the new owners of the property.  . Very rarely do I ever do this myself as pick new work up on a regular basis.

Yes. I always do.

It's never guaranteed that they want to continue though - but I would say 75% do.

I normally give the custie a leaflet or business card to leave for new owners which nearly always gets me in.

Do a few houses on an area where 75% is rented, try and avoid rental houses if I can but on that estate it's always one in and one out.

Always leave a card for the new owners on last clean.
If I'm there and the new owners aren't in I just clean.
At worst I've done a free clean.
Never had any issue with it so far.

im cleaning her new property once she gets settled. ;)

i always knock on new owners if its near other work.i put the price up 99% of the time as well.
price higher/work harder!
