FORD TRANSIT CUSTOM USER'S 🚙
« on: August 11, 2014, 05:13:24 pm »
Just a query really, you know the nut in the back of the van floor that holds the spare wheel, it looks like a wheel locking nut, was you given a special nut to undo these as I can't find mine anywhere. To be honest I'm sure I was never given one so would be knackered if I needed to get my spare wheel out. If you was given one where would it be ? I know the Jack is kept behind the plastic cover at the side bottom of the drivers seat, thought the nut would be there but nooooo !!!!

Any ideas ?
Cheers in advance for any help 👍

You usually use the end of the wheel wrench that comes with the van, it's got a hex type end on it

Mr B
If in doubt.....Leave it out !!

Same mechanism in a normal transit mate, you sure its a locking wheel nut though, and not just the normal bolt in the floor at the back of the van?
If it is but cant find it, just get down to a tyre garage, they'll whip it off for you mate
Otherwise your 'wrenchy thing' that is with the jack will do it...put it into the hole in floor and screw it out

The wheel wrench is under the drivers seat.
