I have loads of bad payers, should I put on the bottom of the bill.

1=could you please pay promptly as the winter months are upon us and I have heating bills to pay.

2=could you please pay your bill as I have a cash flow problem.

3=pay the efin bill

Or 4.. please pay within 7 days or a £5.00 admin fee may be added for late payment.

Or 5: pay the effing bill or I'm gonna break your effing legs you cardboard cutout runt pmsl !!!! Only if you don't want job anymore

Or 6: Say to them nicely you've been going through your books and you got outstanding payment that needs to be paid

1.put "please pay within 14 days,many thanks"

2.if no payment made on the 14th day, send a text reminder

3.if no reply after 24 hrs.ring them up

4.if no answer call in and knock there door when passing until they pay up then dump.

luckily for me its only a few late payers i have to deal with.normally they pay up after a text reminder or phone call.if i have to go and knock their door then they get dumped once payment recieved.it doesnt happen often.

sometimes though i just cant catch them in and no answer to texts or phones calls.in these circumstances i write the debt off unless its over £40 then id send them a letter i got off darren lane.never had to use it yet!been close a few times though!

ive wrote off about £40 from 3 separate accounts this year thats all.although it could reach £100 by the years end.normally its about £40-£50 a year.

ive earned 3 or 4 grand more though year on year in the last 4 years so i dont let it me worry me too much!

doesnt matter what you put they will ignore it

Weed out the bad payers
introduce more standing orders, offer it to the bad payers prior to dumping them
all new customers, standing orders only

The bad payer and messer history.
Cleaner 1 takes on and then dumps.
Cleaner 2 takes on and then dumps.
Cleaner 3 takes on and then dumps and so on.
You take them on and then dump.
New cleaner takes them on and then dumps and it goes on and on.
Don't get too stressed by bad payers it just part of building a good round in this business
it would be nice if they didn't exist but they do and we have all had them.
It does get better.
