don't you just love it when...
« on: October 15, 2013, 11:08:46 pm »
...the customer phones you up on your mobile 1hour after you cleaned their windows and says "you have left runs marks down our  kitchen window from your brush.
Can you come back and put it right please.
Ok says I. Go back and examine the window and in the beautiful sunlight there is not a mark on the outside…..but loads of runs on the inside from splashes from the tap!! No they are not she says its all on the outside. Can i prove it you says I? and i quickly spray the inside window and clean it with microfibres. Close the window and hey presto marks are gone.
She starts to blame her husband for splashing the window. Anyway she offers apologies and of course I accept. Funny as I was just thinking that morning I haven't had a complaint for years.
She sends me a text 15 mins later while I am having lunch and says how embarrassed she is about complaining about the quality of my work and so very sorry for doubting.

Cheers Guys  ;D

i get it when the window has blown as well.   :-\

When I do office blocked they never paid or wanted me to do the insides as a partly Mite does them.

The Window has blown as well? - WHAT is that?

The sealed unit has blown, causing air to get in, which causes condensation inside

Well I hope you charged her double for cleaning the inside window and the extra travelling time, that I gather (from this forum) is the norm ? :D

I got called back on a friday evening once on a job 10 miles from home saying that I had not cleaned the living room window properly because there was a bird print on the glass.
No problem I said i'll be over Saturday morning to have a look and put it right.
When I got there I could see the bird print but after looking from a couple of different angles could see it was definitely not on the outside of the window.
Custie was full of apologies and said that a bird must of got in the house when patio doors were left open and gave me a fiver for my trouble.  :D
