Top that Trev. People need to wake up.

One thing I've been avoiding is Aspartame.

me too they are putting that stuff in more and more food, most chewing gum now has aspartame in and I noticed they are now also adding it to yakult which is supposed to be healthy

Yeh it's in a lot of yogurts. Depopulation and dumbing up of the people conspiracy, in my opinion.(and many others)

There's a story of a woman who stopped drinking pepsi max and she started walking properly again. Doctors couldn't determine her problem and the cause. She drank bottles and bottles each day and it slowly paralysed her.

Pepsi or Boddingtons ? A mate of mine is the same so they must put the same gear in Fosters  ;D.

On a serious note - back to the soft drinks factory, we made a "high" juice drink which is >4% and this can leave a white ring at the top of the fluid level. To sort this a product called Valcorin was added which Bayer said was harmless once it had been in the drink 20 mins - but the product was retested after 48 hours. The German rep dropped a bottle and they evacuated the factory, called the fire brigade and the rep spent 3 days in hospital.  Valcorin is also used in products like Sunny D which is advertised as healthy - what harm do this do to kids ?

It's crazy carl.

Ribena, cream soda, diet pepsi, coke zero, pepsi max, diet coke, diet sprite. The list goes on. Even energy drinks which are popular.

Cream soda has what is in effect wallpaper paste in it to thicken it up

Velcorin - acceptable daily intake - none, side effects none ?

Similarly I will not eat chinese food to the high use of MSG. Ever woke up in the middle of a vivid dream, sweating and dehydrated....think about what you ate ....Chinese? How else can you make rice taste that good!
Then again everything is bad for you nowadays...butter leads to clogging of arteries , don't eat too much red meat...thats bad for you , gluten in bread causes allergies!
