There was lots of bad reviews on here about the Emporium , and after fives years use we snapped a section.

Im hoping Jeff Brimble will come along with ideas on where to get another section  ;D

How did you snap it?
At what height?
What condition was the pole in?
Any damage to anything else/anyone?

It's just the internet. Try not to worry.

If the break is fairly clean, you may be able to get it repaired by (or via) a fishing tackle shop.  I did this once with an SL2.  N.B. The pole didn't break in use - I trod on it - oops !!

It was not me that snapped it  ::)roll it was down to user error, having the pole at low level at 40 odd feet long  ::)roll

It didn't snap completely , just bad enough to make the section a write off.
I have now bought a new section for it, it was a bit of luck that I found a site selling off sections for this pole.

Snap it completely then take the tapered end squirt some superglue on it and shove it back up through the lower piece. It will give you a shorter but usable section. Couple of turns of electrical tape over the join to protect your hands.
This section will now be stronger than ever.

It snapped 3inches from the end, but I might try something along those lines Dave as I just got a email letting me know that the section is not for sale any more  :(
