Are the new Fibredyne pre-filter pre filters suitable for use to replace the standard pre filters on the merlin?

Merlin use their own carbon filter.

You could however fit a 10" or 20" complete prefilter housing with 1/2" fittings with a Fibredyne filter in the water line before the inlet to the Merlin r/o. I would also link in a second prefilter for a sediment filter if the water has a lot of sediment as ours does.
