recycling R.O. waste water?

As a water meter user... has anyone decided to re use the waste water back through the filters and R.O. to save on the water bills? or at least, to save on wasting water?

Not good for the membranes.
I am on a meter too,but I fill my water butt with it and water the grass and garden. I paid for it,may as well get some use from it!

@£42.95
Runing the waste water through that membrane can half the waste water but probably will last maximum 2 years.

With the demise of the Ionics Pro-6 (no waste) probably the lowest waste ratio system on the market at the moment is this one -

Waste ratio of about 25% with a re-circulation system. Pricey at about £5,700 though.

I've got a 4040 couldn't I add another one to the waste or one of the smaller ones ( I think it's called a 2020) ?.
