rinsing with fan jets
« on: July 03, 2013, 06:20:07 pm »
Treated myself to a new pole last week. Got fan jets fiited and I like them for speed of rinsing but cant seem to get the hang of rinsing the top of the glass without spray going all over the frame and then getting the dreaded runs.
Any advice on how to rinse with fans without spraying the frame again?
Cheers guys.

I have three fan jets fitted to my brush, I find them much better than pencil jet,fan jets you will find will rins as you go down the glass.

Surely if the frame is clean you won't get runs.

exactly always get the top frame really clean on first clean then a quick scrub each visit and should get no runs.

That's my approach. I recently got fan jets too and love them.

rinse with brush on the glass, fan jets spray water from side to side horizontally to the brush, if brush is on glass I can't see how it would be spraying over the frames unless your brush is at the wrong angle.

You will if the frame has a vent or the rubber seals have degraded.
Or if a little water gets in behind the top beading.

Get the brush as close as you canto the glass at the top, and move further away as you come down the glass.
