Virosol onto the dry roof >>>> leave on for 5 mins then scrub off with brush and water.

If the roof is really caked in muck, I spray on leave for a few minutes, then scrub for a bit without water, repeat, then use the brush with water flowing.

I wet the roof first to get heavy dirt off then virosol, but will try it on a dry roof next time it would save time, why didn't I think of that  ???

I would wet the roof first before applying virosol .

I don't know but I don't know much about Virosol. I can't see why not, but....... :-\.
If it's self cleaning, you may not have to; they are much easier to clean; plenty of water should sort the glass. In fact, dry spells are the problem for this type of glass and rain does wash a lot of the dirt away.
I'd probably play safe and not use anything stronger than washing up liquid.

It's more for the upvc really. The glass always comes up good.
