Merlin or HF5??
« on: June 28, 2013, 07:11:46 am »
Which set up would produce the least amount of waste.

My meterless supply of water has been lost as my neighbour has changed to a meter, so I want to get my rejection level down, I currently loose approx 2ltrs for every litre of pure, which of the above will be best in a hard water area?

Not exactly sure per ltr but my son has an HF5 unit and the waste looks to run slightly slower than the fill. hope this helps

You should be able to send about 50% to waste and 50% to product water with a HF5 without any problems. Thing to remember is you cannot adjust a Merlin waste, it is what it is.
