even if its only a small job £5 or £6 think they will be tied into a long contract or something.

they should just say oh clean them today and ill let u know.

I find its usually the other way round.

"Ok mate, but I will have to ask the missus, she makes the decisions"

It's much easier to say it's someone else's decision and dodge the issue of :
"That's too expensive."
"I can't afford that much."
"I don't like the look of you"

I've a 'text ahead' customer who, when I started the job her washing line in the back garden was full of Thongs, dozens of em, real squeakers. The next and subsequent cleans, nothing other than a couple of dust cloths. Funny really.
