Roll flat hose for fill up
« on: June 23, 2013, 05:44:06 pm »
Hi
Anyone on here use roll flat hose for filling their tank from an IBC?
At present I use big thick petrol station style hose lasts for years. But it's wearing out and dear to replace.
If you do you roll flat where do you get it from. Cheers

Oh that's a shame I had visions of rolling it out to my van and cheerfully rolling it back it in for ages. Comes on a roller doesn't it?
When I first set up, 10 years ago  :o I went the whole gamut of hoses til I found my present stuff from a co called AlfAgomma. Trouble is its £250 but then again it has lasted 5 or 6 years. Just wondered what others use. Tell you what I will do a new thread entitled something like that.  ;D

yup great at first but spring leaks thru tiny holes that spray jets of water over you and everything within 12 foot radius.

try this instead from screwfix

http://www.screwfix.com/p/reinforced-suction-delivery-hose-10m-x-51mm-2/13658

machine mart also sells it

dont last forever but lot longer than layflat

Cheers for that. It's kind of like what I've got.
I've no real complaints about it just like to be able to put it away.
Cheers again
