« on: April 06, 2006, 08:06:38 pm »
Hi all

Recently quoted for carpet cleaning to houses for builder, got to arrange meeting for next week.

Can anyone help with risk asssessments & method statements that might be required.

Gone in  with fair price but would like to upgrade to texatherm in future so got to pay well.

Thanks in advance

Gary.

Each and every job has different risk and methods so would have to be written per job. Granted most would be the same but nevertheless they need to be seen as and written as per job. If you are working on a building site that hasnt handed over yet then you will have to use 110 volts if you are using electricity for anything.  If you are using a truckmount then at least the risk assessment of using electricity wouldnt be needed. If you are using a portable then of course the risk will be there and then you have to explain etcetera etcetera. Just using a truck mount as opposed to any other type of machine has different risks and therefore methods so you can imagine now why each job requires for it to be unique.  Hope this helps, best, Dave.
