Gardiner sill brush, red stiff bristles
« on: June 13, 2013, 08:04:40 am »
Can anyone tell me what this brush if like for window cleaning. I know it's probably good for con roofs and fascias but what about every day window cleaning. Hot water use is killing out medium ones and were looking to swap over

I have ordered one but haven't used it yet

I have used them they are good , but now I use a modified extreme with the white bristles I also use hot and this brush seems able to stand the heat.

Lee

I have had the water up 65 deg with this brush.
http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/The-Super-Lite--45cm-Wide-Medium-Mixed-Brush-BRUSH_45_MM.html

and as of yet have not noticed any deformation apart from what I wold expect from day to day use.

It is wider, but you clean more glass quicker, this brush alone has sped up my cleaning time by at least 10-15%.

Regards

Alex

p.s use the 1.4mm jets if you want to save water, this is what we do

I use one with the water up very high, it's ok but I still get a slight deformation but not as much as the white bristles.  It seems to have far more scrubbing power.  The deformation is on the top corners of the brush more the right side.  I have used this brush hard though.

Simon.
