D.I vessel in van
« on: June 08, 2013, 04:49:57 pm »
Hi all

At the moment i have my d.i after my r.o, producing into a static ibc and then transfer the water to the van.
The problem is that after a while the static tank gets the odd bits in the water therefore getting into the pure water.
The idea is to maybe put the d.i in my van after the pump to ensure my water tds is definatley at 0 when it gets to the end of the pole, but would this decrease the life of the resin?
(The faster water flow using more resin)
Any ideas most welcome

Cheers :)

i do this . to keep my tds at zero all the time and it doesnt effect the system at all.. sensible thing to do.. the resin lasts ages because its only polishing the water down a bit

I always have had the D.I after the pump as the strainer on the pump catches the big bits.
