« on: October 26, 2013, 05:29:52 pm »
just ordered ibc 1000ltr  £40 + £20 delivery, bloke said it will be here in the morning.

Im going to set the tank high and with a bit of luck I wont need a pump , let gravity do its thing.

Buy a pump.

For £50-ish, it will pay for itself in time saved within a week.

I was thinking of going three feet high, but now when I look at the tank I think its best on the ground, i will get a pump.

I finished setting up IBC at around 4pm yesterday afternoon, got up this morning and its over half full.
TDS is 015,  my question is how long will this water stay at tds 015 ?
will the water go off in other words.

Is that rain water or Ro water?

Either way it will turn as the sunlight will get to it.

Ian_Giles used to fill his tank up using gravity only; it was very quick.  He used quite a wide bore transfer hose.

Maybe took ten minutes to fill up a 650 tank?
