fan jets

have to say been using pencil jets gone over to fan jets yes i am converted to fan jets better allround :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

i was a fan jet lover but since discovered pencil  jets i will never go back to fan it  took me years to catch on so will you

you can get a splash back with fan jets,which can result in spotting there are a few videos about explaining this.
also most fan jets need a higher pressure to operate correctly so more water.
i do have some fan jets on a sill brush but have decided to go back to pencil jets for a short while to measure the difference and have lowered the pressure from 40 ish to 25

I think the main problem with fan jets is that if you are not careful you will get a lot of overspray which could hit dirty vents or fascia above the window frame.
This could then later drip onto a clean window leaving dirty run marks.
If you only allow the water to flow when the brush is touching the glass overspray problems should not happen.
I dabbled with fan jets for a while and found the blue Lurmark jets to be quite good.
But for the past year or so I've gone back to pencil jets on a full flow.
