CUSTOMERS ARE LOYAL EVEN IN RECESSION!

I called at my 1st job this morning and my customer tells me someone has been round hard sell canvassing saying they will beat any price, trying to get my customer to tell them how much they paid.

They were quite persistent apparantly but my customer kept replying "we are very happy thank you"  ;D
I was happy to hear this as this customer doesnt say much kids go to public school etc, so didnt really know how they felt about me or my service.  :)

It just gos to prove further that price does not always count but a professional friendly service does!  :)

I noticed from early on how loyal some can be. Gives you the warm fuzzy glow dunnit?  ;D

You should of asked your customer if they had left their phone number.
And then given them a call asking if they can beat the "£2.50 per house" that was posted on here the other day.  ;D

ho no they aint one custy cancelled because all of asudden decided she dint like wfp and so convinced her pal who ihad been doing for a few years she let it slip. any way who cares always some odd balls just replace, life is to short to worry

Good point, lets see if they can beat that £2.50 for any size property brigade!... Or more to the point lets see if they can beat my prices (or rather lack there of) I never have any doll money left after I PAY my custards £1 for the privilage of cleaning there windas  ;)

Had one of my custys give me a card the other day with prices of 5.50 for a house 6.50 for a house with conservatory and bungalows 4.50 needless to say she didnt cancel and I charge her £5 just for the front £13 for the lot and has a small conny on. Must be a beer money man to top up his hard earned giro

When people go in with really low prices many will ask how they can do it for the price and are suspicious that there may be a catch.

Keeping customers is easy if you provide good service.

Loyalty has nothing to do with it, there is one thing we all have in common
we don't like being taken for a fool.
If a customer thinks your overcharging or underworking they wont be long letting you know
or moving to another cleaner.
There is nothing wrong with charging a high price as long as you do a high level of work.
Everything in this game depends on competition if someone comes along who does a better
job than you, even if they are slightly more expensive they will eventually take your work.

Loyalty has everthing to do with it as i charge a decent, althogh not greedy price & they were offered a cheaper price. They decided to stay loyal to me  :)

So you are loyal to your workers even though they are more expensive. Everything to do with loyalty see?

I've just taken 3 domestic modest jobs next to each other from a guy who is "too busy" doing his commercial stuff and who has neglected them as customers. The custies didn't like being done as an afterthought from time to time and changed to me. (One of them approached me and the others followed suit.)

In the last year I have picked up several compact sections of work from this chap and it is good paying work totalling £450 per clean.
It's a game of three halves!

Are you 100% certain they would stay with you because of loyalty ?

They are loyal to me because I DO AN EXCELLENT JOB this other window cleaner at best, could match the standard of my clean BUT was offering a lower price. My customer has shown themself loyal to me.

What is it about this you dont get John?  :)
