is it worth buying conservatory ladders
« on: April 10, 2013, 09:13:45 pm »
i clean maybe  ten  connies a year if i am lucky( or not as they are hard work )
is worth buying three hundred and fity pounds worth of kit on the hope of getting more work or making the job a little less hassel?
i know we spend hundreds on poles and other bits of kit but that is for bread and butter wor
so is the outlay worth it?
i have found that although they spend 10 to 15k on a connie they seem unwilling to spend a hundred or so every five years to maintain it  and to clean them when no trace of white is visible

the avarge price in my part of surrey seems to be 40 to 60 for a four x  six  connie just to let you know the grass aint cleaner down south

Probably not worth it unless you plan to start doing more of them.

why do you need conservatory ladders anyway?

WFP and normal ladders with a stand off gets the job done if you need to pole from a ladder.

virosol if the roof is really dirty.

i clean roughly 15-20 conny roofs a year.ive never had to use conservatory ladders and the roofs come up top notch.
price higher/work harder!
