Whilst you were there you should have offered a price to clean them solar panels.

What were you doing there anyway?

He was obviously taking pictures of a truck and some solar panels.

I'd rather be down the beach myself.

Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

No I don't Mike. Just live in a very low crime area and take the valuable stuff in at night.

Cleaned 66 of the 200 solar panels as they're split into 3 sections with real time monitoring. The idea being to measure the difference between the clean third over the grubby two thirds and see what the actual, measurable change in output is.

Can't park down at the Beach because it's full of Grockles but it was the first, properly warm day we've had without the -8c wind chill.

You can certainly see the difference.

When were they last cleaned?

Not sure why I am doing this, but I'm gonna stick my neck out and give some guesstimates!  Judging by the pic, which is an inaccurate gauge because the dirty section is far away, the increase could be 30% or more. After 12-18 months after install, 12% would be about average. Due to them being relatively close to the sea though, it could be more. If they are monitored real time, why could you not tell the difference? ???

Because the customer, as of 23:48 April 7 2013, has not yet supplied me with the information and they're about 10 miles from the Sea.

Ok. We can Bluetooth into some systems to get instant readings. Thought you may have done the same.  :)

No I'm not that clever Steve. The customer and two neighbours are able to monitor each others outputs and one of the neighbours has just had their first clean and an apparent large hike in output - I don't know exactly how much though. I've done the first of three sections of the current job so the customer can evaluate whether I clean the other two.
