Any electricians here? Or Ian Sheppard?
« on: April 03, 2013, 06:36:16 pm »
My system keeps tripping the RCD.

Running a Clarke CBM240 booster pump, and a Gardiners S2 control unt.

All been working fine, just the last few days we have experienced it tripping the RCD, and leaving us without any water.

Will take a look 2moro to see if I can bypass the S2, and just run the pump, to see if pump is at fault, but any guesses at the minute, whether its pump on its way out or S2 having issues?

If its tripping the RCD I would have thought you have a pump problem

Damp or any water getting to electrics? Could be causing a short and tripping it out

Hi Simon

As above comments check the cables and earths and pump. Its the pump that draws the majority of the current.

Let me know how you get on
