Hi george i dont know steve persoanlly but spoke a few times and he seemed geniuine
from what im reading im presuming he subbed work to you?if this the case it can be a diffiicult situation has he may well be waiting on payment hime self proberly 10x that amount.

i hope it is something that can be sorted fairly

this has been going on a long time and he has no intention of paying me, he has been paid, i dont put up things like this lightly, he wont answer phone or emails, i have even offered a lower price as a settlement fiqure and also a pay monthly but he still wont pay, even took it to solicitors costing me around £500.00, i could easily send someone down who wouldnt come back without payment but i dont live like that way,  i believe in karma - what goes around comes around,

If he has gone bankrupt he can still earn money. In fact it's one of the reasons Individual Voluntary Agreements were set up so that individuals with small businesses can still function while paying back any money they are liable for.

If the date is before December it will be part of the Bankruptcy, if after he will remain liable for it even if he has entered a IVA or previously been bankrupt.

Can you find out who handled the bankruptcy?
Can you send him one of those letters we send out to late payers?

It's good that you have offered terms shows more goodwill on your part than many would show.
