CE Certification
« on: March 16, 2013, 07:58:50 am »
If you import a machine from the US and intend it for your personal use does it need ce certification?
If you intend to sell the machine must it be certified?

Does it just apply to machinery?

If you ok just you using it no. But if something happens that requires investigation,  it needs to be certified if not maybe the insurance won't pay out.

Same as if its sold by you and it not it might come back to bite you in the bum later, litigious times and all that.

Company in South Shields at the tedco centre did the prowlers CE certification costs about £2000 and is a right faff on.
