if you are thinking of a powerbrush i think the extracta scrubba or the rotovac are the ones that seem to get the best reviews.

theres 2 scrubbas for sale on this site at the minute (one of thems mine) i think there brilliant myself.

training wise, i would say iirc theres one on the 7-8th of march you might still get on at alltec not to far for you if your in essex its just down the m11.

we done a school recently, hard with a porty, 1 room we had to go back lots of paint and stuff in a right mess didnt get a good enough result, went back and used power scrubber (with porty) much better results, happy customers then.

I never use my Extracta power tool on carpet tiles, in fact the best method for this type of carpet is Texatherm/Dry Fusion, if you over wet carpet tiles they will wick up badly especially if they are very soiled.

As has already been said a school is a very difficult place to start, Paint/Blue tac/glue/soil/ink all on low profile carpet tiles is bad enough for any system.

2F67963 i havent been on it myself but from what i gather this course is quite in depth and technicall most of the supplier courses are more hands on and i wouldnt think the prochem would be that different to the ashbys

DON'T use solvent on carpet tiles if you are new to carpet cleaning, you will over do it and break down the bitumen backing.
It sounds like a dirt, probably attached by a residue collecting spotter, used previously, keep flushing through and eventually you should get it clean. Tiles can take a lot more cleaning the your average carpet.
