i quoted £15 4 weekly and got the old leave it i only paid £6 before, thanks for wasting my time i said

Yep, it's annoying.  I recently went to quote for a gutter clean.  Quoted £60 and the lass declined saying, "I thought it would be about a tenner, I'll do it myself!"

I had one yesterday quoted £11 she said i'm a pensioner and the last one charged £7 yes but you called me because the last one didn't clean the frames or sill  

Will you do them for a lower price ?  NO you need to call your old cleaner and see if he still wants to do them for you goodbye.

It's a good feeling to get turned down every now and then

i picked up 3 down a small cul de sac a few years ago.last windy was also charging £6.the frames,sills and doors were filthy and he missed the odd awkward window and velux windows.

they took me on and i clean everything and they are very happy with my service.good payers too.

you win some,lose some.

i told them when they all quibbled about the price(which they all did at first) that i do a proper job and if they werent happy after id cleaned them then they didnt have to pay me!

this line works well usually when they moan about the price!
