A real good dump
« on: February 12, 2013, 04:42:34 pm »
Yesterday I dropped one of my shops.  Its a nail shop and they have a problem with pigeons nesting above the sign.  Every time I come  theres loads of bird poo on the windows and i spend 5 mins scraping it all off, get my scraper and applicator dirty with pigeon poo.  Ive asked them twice ot get it sorted and they havent so I have finally taken the stand.
Then another customer today, they have a massive dog and its great, but it poos all over the garden and they dont clear it up!  Was just setting up to clean the backs when I thought to myself 'i shouldnt have to stand for this' and left them a note saying its a waste of my time so unless you clear up the poo (of which there were over 10 items) then i'm not coming back.
Feels very liberating!  When customers take the mick, you dont have to take it!

nothing worse than dog sh*t all over a lawn or patio you  look like a  dancer when  trying to dodge all the sh*t. even worse on a patio when the owner has decided to try & clean it up using a sweeping brush & its spread everywhere. >:(

And, lest we forget, some dogs are prone to a little coprophagia so, just incase some of those "items" are missing, dont let them lick your face. :P

Even worse is not realising it until you're back down the ladder and you notice the cat mess on the rungs.
Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

This topic puts me in mind of a property I clean were the "item" deposition is particularly prolific. The canine culprit with the suspiciously scented breath is in possession of a particularly boisterous and playful nature, that exhibits little respect for a man at his work.

In an effort to counteract the inevitable pounce from him as soon as I open the gate, I proceed with the bottom end of my A ladder first.

The last time I was there I didn't quite have hold of my ladder and it slipped from my hand and clobbered me on me nut.

I couldn't quite work out if that hound was panting or laughing when he saw me hoist by my own petard.
