You cant price it per m2.

(Your Hourly Rate + Materials + Profit) / Size of floor = £/m2

What I am trying to say is the m2 price comes after you work out the total for the job.

Jamie is right all the way on this one!  It is all about the type of machinery you have then you need to calculate materiels and time involved in Hard Floor Cleaning. It is nothing like carpets.  Think about those toilet floors you have just done!  The first time you went in with that toy Scrubber then you went in with a Professional Rotary and the correct brush head and materiels!  Look at the difference it made!  Now imagine if you had a 300 watt Triple Motor Professional 90 Litre wet vac and an industrial Kentucky Mop Bucket on wheels with a Kentucky Microfibre 12 0z Flat Mophead how much quicker again it would have been?

Ok so basically pricing comes with experience and Kev i have a 3000w Vac lol all though i didn't use that because i dont have the floor attachments yet but i thought my little machine done a good job as i used the spray to rinse and vac at same time it took me 2 hrs to do 6m2 thats setting up 30 minute dwell and scrubbing vac etc and pack up i charged £150 that included the cost of gear which i still have most of so i could basically do more just at machine and labour cost.

I am going to look at the floors of a rugby club this morning i know the manager i done there carpets before so i texted him to let me look and see how they could be cleaned etc and maybe clean them as a way of gaining experience and before and after pics lol.

So Kev be ready for incoming emails lol.  ;D
