Drove past a car showroom and saw a windie using something like a microfibre mop to do some high work inside.
Anyone know what this is?

Don't Know much about them, what I do know is they are used by the contractor who cleans T5 at Heathrow.

No good on first cleans, but to maintain high level glass on places like car showrooms they're ideal. Their main job is to remove light dust and they do it well.

I have just purchased a Nicky Ticky 216 I use inside cleaning it fixes on my Harris pole. If  I used it correctly it might just work or I will probably lose a job or two. But am still learning. So

They are total pants , dont waste your money , as unless the job is at least monthly then results will be very poor indeed , its all very well saying "if used properly" more a case of if you have 200 dragonfly pads you might stand a chance of getting it half way there !

I would like to hear or see the results of anybody that uses one on any less than the terms which i have laid out , in fact i think even monthly is a big ask .......

I tried one once on a commercial that funnily enough i did today , i completed the job , all looked good and was well happy , then that low sun came streaming through and  , i felt it only right to spend a further day putting it right the old fashioned way , and have used the same method ever since , big flat mop on a clx 27 and a blade on a broken down facelift , the results can be seen here .....

Just use the dragonfly on clean glass that doesn't need to be cleaned then if you don't know how to use it correctly. It will save you a lot of hassle.

Have you really found a use for it though Dean , i know Dave got one for the likes of Primark and H&M , and as i recall he thought it good , however they are both as you are no doubt aware very regular cleans , lets just put it to the test on a Toys R us store , Plymouth for example would be a good test pilot , this is the other half of the building that i have in the bag , same design but as you know , toys r us dont have any profit margin to blow on window cleaning , therefore can only afford a 10 yearly clean , would it work on them ?
Dave as me to price it up 3 years ago , alas i think the drongo in toys r us is still trying to justify the cost
