Bad start to year

The year started very quietly then I get a couple of jobs and yesterday the solution pump goes on my scorpion and today my van stops working and is not looking good to be repaired. Please can I start the year again  :'(

Given a choice, would you have preferred these things to give out now when it's quieter or during the run up to Christmas?
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

 This is when having a few bob tucked away comes in very handy,  ;)
I am not a Mormon, but I read years ago about a philosophy of theirs about having 6 months wages saved up ( or more if you can ) and six months of non perishable food in your kitchen , advice that came in very handy for me  in 2010  :(

Fair point Wynn and I've just had a call to say my van has been brought back to life I don't know the cost yet but a right result ;)
