mascarra, lipstick, paint spots I find nivea make up removal facial wipes are quick and easy place over the stain, a few lite whacks with a tamp brush and its gone. cheap as chips from home bargains.

Do they contain moisturiser? If so you might want to give a quick spray of traffic lane cleaner or spotter prior to rinsing to ensure its completely rinsed. Good tip.

I believe they have a shot of lanolin in them but I dont think there is enough moisturiser to make an issue I normally do the spotting prior to normal presray and aggitation of carpet prior to extraction so if there was any conditioners after spotting this will have been resolved with the pre spray i should think.
