need a new battery voltage droping
« on: January 08, 2013, 05:36:19 pm »
Had this one for 3 years over the years i have run it less then 12v quite often so now the charge is only holding for less then a day  :o been quoted £100+ vat for a 75apm vrata from my local wfp shop, another place online can do the same battery for £80 but need to wait a few days (so far thats the best deal)

Anyone els can recomend a battery and where to get from also which one is the best one? i dont mind paying more for a better battery

Got a 125ah on ebay for £82.
Got an auto charger too-never charged it auxiliary.
Can't beat an auto charger, you'll never drain it so should give 5 years min. Got 8 out of the last one and was still going strong when I sold my old kit

It's just the internet. Try not to worry.

Avoid Tayna Batteries is all i'd say. Dreadful customer service if something goes wrong (as it did with me and a charger I bought from them).

I'd recommend a 110ah leisure battery together with a smart charger.

Not really, there is only you and one pump working on it, so a 75ah would be fine
