We used to clean to minus 3/4 before any real probs developed - after that, if anyone commented on the frozen water on glass I was told to say it would be fine it's still pure and will thaw pure and your window will be clean!
To my knowledge we got no complaints  :)

We have cleaned down to -6 with hot.

Only thing is at that temp you need to run your reel back into top of tank until it comes hot otherwise it will freeze up on ground before it comes through.

I cleaned the British Antarctic Survey windows at their base on the Brunt Ice Shelf at -550C with cold water wearing shorts, flip-flops and a T shirt.

Call me a puff if you like but anything under -1 then I dont bother.  ;D

So long as they have heating on then the glass will be warm.

Keep the water flowing when hose on ground and it prob wont freeze even if you just have a trickle running thru it

When we had -15 the year before last I tried trad with deicer in my bucket but it still froze a luvly shade of blue  :)
