how much a mile

got to price a couple of houses tomorrow, might be 3 .   about 20 mile away,  all my work is near so i dont ever  figure travel costs into my prices,  how do others work it out please

Just price them higher than you would normally to compensate for your time and fuel getting there. They'd need to be big, well priced houses for me to consider travelling 20 miles out my way but I'm full. If you're still building your round you might think it's worth it.

calculate your time travelling at £ per hours that you want plus 50p per mile

The only way it can work for you is to canvice the area and try and gain more business in the area or sell them to some one in the area after 3 months.

cheers lads , its an out of the way tiny village ( not sure its big enough to call a village ) but the lady was in a cafe i was cleaning so knows i'll have to travel so i expect she'll pay well as its only 2/3 times a year, for her house & a holiday let she owns & mebbe her neighbour, just wasn't sure how much mileage to charge but 50p sounds ok
